  Growing up in the lap of luxury since her mother, Autumn, is a very close friends with king which gives them the title of noble, Nemesis had everything she wanted and needed except for her father. Her father abandoned her mother (without realizing that she was pregnant) before she was born so her mother was forced to take on both parental roles. Autumn doted on her daughter and taught her everything except the history, secrets and information about her father because that's his duty to tell her. Nemesis struggled with the fact that her father isn't there to watch her grow up and help her with the issues that she have but she loved her father because she knew that he was nearby, always watching. After her mother slipped into a deep coma after the huge battle between her and the assassins, Nemesis actively sought out her father for the information and the connection she needed.

  Nemesis had a relatively normal childhood and her mother didn't try to shelter her because she believed that her own child is strong just like her and her soulmate (Nemesis's father) and she is able to handle anything that is thrown in her way. Nemesis learned how to handle different kind of weapons, fighting methods and all of the things her mother thought she would need to know and the bright-eyed girl learned all of those things with vigor. She also learned how to be civil and develop her social skills because her mother owned a tavern so she worked there when she doesn't have school or training that needs to be done. As she developed into a teenager, she went into the mercenary profession and was gone from the home majority of the time but she would always come back home with pouches or bags of money for her mother.

  Discovering the world of romance and love at the young age of 18 years old, Nemesis dove right into the relationship with a well-known womanizer, thinking she could make him settle down with just one woman instead of romancing a woman and move on. Her relationship with him was a whirlwind of romance, love, and tears because she loved him and was willing to give up her mercenary lifestyle for him. When he found out that she is pregnant with the twins, he ran away from her so fast and started acting like he doesn't know her. She was forced to raise her daughter and son on her own with help of her 'boys' (close guy friends).
  
  One of her 'boys' realized that he have feelings for Nemesis so he approached her with the intent of showing his feelings to her but got rejected right away because she was afraid to get hurt. He stuck by her side and slowly gained the female's trust so they decided to become mates. It was a very long and blissful year for Nemesis because she finally had a family she wanted, two beautiful children and a mate that dotes completely on her. He gave her a silver necklace with black rose pendant on their 6th month anniversary and she never took the necklace off ever since. But after the year passed by, her world imploded then exploded because of series of fights she had with him about small random things. It built up between them and the male decided to go into the arms of Nemesis' (now disowned) sister, cheating on Nemesis.
  
  When Nemesis found out about the cheating affair, she was shattered and felt like she was going to die because she was going to tell him that she was pregnant with his child. She went to the tavern where she usually hangs out with her boys and saw her former mate with another female, she completely lost it and nearly killed the female before she got dragged off by her friends. She went into self-imposed reculsion in a manor she used to share with her sisters. The child she have with that male died early on from complications which caused her to retreat more deeper into herself.

  Nemesis decided it was time to head out into the real world and start living once again so she went to a tavern called The Hidden Rose where she encountered a well-dressed wolf that seemed to feel nervous and akward around her. She spent some time talking and teasing the wolf before she got up to leave when a stunning husky came into the tavern, causing her heart to skip a beat. Brandon and Nemesis exchanged a flirty conversation and she found himself in his arms along with her heart in his possession at end of the night.
